Wow! wow! wow!

And yay yay! yay!

To all of the above!

Again welcome, welcome, welcome to Art Bath.

What else should we know about Art Bath?

Art Bath is, a fairly new, recently launched, (in February 2022), New York City, salon (art) series, based at the Blue Building, a former huge electrical factory on 46th street, and was founded by three hyper talented, refined, stylish, elegant, outgoing, gregarious, fun, warm, and generous performing artists themselves, from various dance companies (including at the Met Opera); and who, in addition to being, accomplished artists, themselves, have been able, in the past few weeks, to draw in, an eclectic and impressive number of both, highly acclaimed, and upcoming, amazing, inspired, and inspiring international artists, of all genres.

How about that?

Wow!

And yay! yay! yay!

Meet stimulating Art Bath co-producers, Cesar Abreu, Mara Driscoll and Liz Yilmaz, who all, in their own original way, with masterful ease, exhilarating joy, and great expertise, through Art Bath, foster unique, forward-thinking artistic creation, and wonderfully fun experimentation, at their beautifully curated salon series, in an expansive, stunning, soulful, and welcoming space.

Wow!

This dynamic co-producing trio, helps create and cultivate, along with the artists and the audience, a personal, free flowing, collaborative, engaging, relaxed, joyful, inclusive environment for all, in which arresting, outstanding, top notch artistic expressions of various cultural traditions, can be enjoyed, discussed and admired, at one’s own unique, and leisurely pace, according to one’s own personality, tempo and style.

How about that?

Wow!

And yay! yay! yay!

And last Saturday, the incredibly rich Art Bath program, featured wonderfully diverse works: exciting photography from two different artists, whimsical illustrations, a gorgeous dance film, and eclectic and electric live performing arts (classical music, poetry, singing, and dancing by various companies, on various music genres).

Art Bath did not disappoint: like all, I was simply, dazzled.

Wow! wow! wow!

And yay! yay! yay!

1)Let’s first, admire the work from celebrity and fashion photographer, Johnny Rozsa, a wonderfully spirited, dexterous, and highly skilled artist, and great admirer of early Hollywood iconic glamour.

And now, get ready for more fabulous dancing/and singing!

Yay!

That’s right!

6) And the final live dancing/singing Art Bath performances, (and awesome dance film viewing), last Saturday, took place in the largest space of the Blue room, and we were able to personally enjoy, at incredibly close range, only a few steps away from the artists, I kid you not, a plethora of gorgeous live dancing and singing, from the following virtuoso performers: Michael Mc Bride, a creative producer and dancer(formerly of Alvin Ailey American Dance), Samuel Lee Roberts, an actor, dancer, film maker (also formerly of Alvin Ailey American Dance), Nicholas Korkos, dancer, singer, actor (formerly of Alonso King’s LINES Ballet), Rodney Bush, composer, songwriter, music producer, and Alea Alternative Latin Music, Elisa Toro Franky, and Evolución Latina, a Salsa dance company.

What great joy, infinite beauty, and pure bliss, poured out of these performances!

Yay! yay! yay!

Admire first, a short excerpt, of wonderful and brilliant, Alvin Ailey like dancing, set to a beautiful and romantic, live piano piece.

Enjoy!:

Wow! wow! wow!

So poetic, lyrical, and moving!

Admire now, a quick snapshot of a beautiful dance film, shot in the streets of New York, a few months ago, projected as well, last Saturday.

And let’s admire now, some additional powerful and mesmerizing, Latin singing and dancing, from other equally wonderful artists:

First, let’s admire a terrific band, performing unusual, outstanding, unique Latin singing, and great drums and saxophone playing, the Alea Alternative Latin music band, whose music you will hear in the next excerpt.

And finally, admire this awesome, “ballroom like” couple, from Evolución Latina, dancing with such ease, joy, sensuality, and incredible technique, to some more exciting music, and still too, from the same Alea Alternative Latin music band.

So, to sum up my feelings about the second edition of Art Bath, enjoyed last Saturday, in great company: what a wonderfully exciting, new (art) concept, what a brilliant New York monthly (art) salon series, and what a treat, to be seamlessly, up close and personal, with wonderfully exhilarating, brilliant, top notch performances, works and artists, of all expressions, and finally, what fun also, to engage as well, with interesting, openminded, creative audience members, to foster in our lives, more beauty, more whimsy, more joy, more inspiration, more exchanges, and last but not least, a sense of community.

Wow!

And yay! yay! yay!

That’s what I call, not just, artful, artistic bathing.

But also, artful, artistic blossoming.

Yay!

And wow!

And thrilling to all art lovers.
